Hello, and welcome to the first blog entry. I'm pretty sure everyone reading this will already know us, but I am Tom, and my girlfriend Kate, and I are going on an extended holiday around South America and South East Asia. The blog is mainly so that people can keep a track of where we are, but also so I can have a bit of excuse to post some photos. We'll be focussing on food from wherever we are, whether its the markets, street food or local dishes.
This first post is more of a test to see if posting from my tablet is possible. I'm hoping that wherever we have wifi, even if there isn't a computer we should be able to post something. As this is before we have left I thought I'd post a very British picture, taken in Leeds Kirkgate Market. I can speak from experience that both his freshly baked and pork pies are fantastic.
